We chose this cruise because it went to several ports that we haven't been there before. But we may need a second thought next time to see Japan is good for cruise visit or rather land tour. Some ports are too quiet and some ports are having too short stay time. Besides, too many immigration process have wasted our time to go onshore to visit. Just wonder why they can't give multiple entry permit to cruise customers. Perhaps one more port in Korea will be more appropriate. Cost of shuttle bus n shore excursion are relatively expensive. Due to limited English speaking tour information staff, you have to do your homework beforehand or you need to wait for long time to talk to them at ports. Except for clean buffet restaurant (no sticky chair back) and comfy bed, the ship itself was dated with no surprises as well as their entertainment show - same old style. Dining is on fixed time, 5:45pm or 7:45pm and your table is pre-fixed. While this may be good for their monitoring and also no worry for us to fight for a table for dining, if your table location or waiter is not that good, that will affect your whole cruise trip. Fair food quality as well as limited varieties and also very general service from some staff, there is no incentive for you to feel great to dine but rather a routine to fill the stomach. I was really a bit disappointed not just on this cruise but the overall quality from Princess. They need to do something to rejuvenate the cruise line to attract people to book again.
