I should start off by saying that I've been on most of the major American cruise chains out there that sail out of Miami (Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Celebrity) on multiple sailings but this is my first experience with MSC, and it was a total disappointment compared to the other lines.

The Bad:

The embarkation process was slow and painful. There were huge lines at the new cruise terminal for MSC just to get through security screening (and I was early to board, this ship does not sail till 7-pm). There were also huge lines that moved very, very slowly on the second floor where you check in to collect your cruise card.
