We chose this cruise to sail with friends and because t was a good time to be away from Illinois. We love cruising on NCL and this cruise was no exception. There was plenty of room by the pool if you wanted sun, or no sun. We enjoyed the entertainment, as well. We never experienced a problem with service, of any kind. We found the bartenders were were very attentive. I was pleased with the overall attentiveness of the crew. Since the gratuities are added to the cruise, you question if the crew will be as attentive. We found them to be very good. We always try to be friendly with the crew and I believe that this does make a difference.

We do enjoy both the specialty restaurants and the main dining room. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food at the main dining venues. I would also suggest the, if you are interested purchasing jewelry, you consider Columbian Emeralds on the ship.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Penthouse with Large Balcony

A great cabin with a terrific view. We have sailed on the Dawn before in an aft-facing suite so we knew what to expect. We were not disappointed. The ship and the crew were terrific. We had been to all the ports, before, so this was just a relaxing cruise in paradise. We always enjoy NCL.
