To be quite honest, the overall concern was our budget. This cruise was relatively inexpensive. Check!
Embarkation was a very smooth, if noisy and crowded, operation for us. The counter person was very friendly and helpful.
The ship was very clean the entire time we we aboard. Our steward kept our room remarkably clean and stocked. He came twice a day, unless the privacy tag was on the lock. Oh, and he left towels folded into the shape of animals on our bed. We enjoyed that.

Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom
We had a veranda cabin, and it was so very worth it, at least to me. I loved beginning and ending my day with the view!

We explored Balboa Park before going to the airport. It's wonderful, and there's lots to do there. Great place to visit.
