First of all my loyalty level with Princess is Elite so I have sailed with them numerous times. I just retuned from a Dec. 10 - Dec. 20, 2019 cruise on Caribbean Princess. We had a great time. We had two mini suites next door to each other. We loved eating in the main dining room and find it much better food than the buffet. The buffet setup encourages people to overeat. We ate at the Crown Grill and loved everything about it - superb service, delicious food, and wonderful ambiance. We visited countries close to the equator and they are hot and humid all year long. Luckily we did not encounter any rain except on Jamaica, our last port. Our room attendant was Christine, and she was amazing being helpful in every way. The ship was decorated for Christmas and the final night we participated in a sing-a-long in the atrium. Grand Turks - went on excursion, the Rainbow Calypso Tram where he drove us around the island. Highlight was seeing the donkeys near the lighthouse. In Cartagena, Columbia we went on the scenic drive of Cartagena and San Pedro Claver Church. Nice tour but as day progressed so did the heat and humidity - no one's fault but unbearable. Panama Canal partial transit very interesting and excellent speaker/commentary. The new locks are huge and interesting to see. Well planned and everyone was able to enjoy it that chose to participate. In Limon, Costa Rica we went on the excursion Limon Waterfront and Backstreet Canals. Loved this! We saw a beautiful island up close with its natural beauty and in the canals we saw several sloths. Go on the first tour of the day! In Montego Bay, Jamaica we went on the scenic drive which was a disappointment partially due to the rain. Montego Bay is a vision of poverty. Very sad to see the conditions in which the locals live. Resorts are beautiful but obviously provide to help to the island improving itself. This was not our first cruise on the Caribbean Princess nor will it be our last.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Nice mini suite but no privacy for balcony - open for view to all balconies above.
