Traveling with friends and an it was an itinerary we wanted to pursue; Greece, Cyprus, Israel and Italy. The room was very nice, cabin steward mostly attentive and helpful, closet space very adequate, happy to have the safe very comforting to be able to lock things up. The dining experience was generally good, I especially like that there is no extra charge for any of the specialty venues. The World Café offered good choices and liked that I could get coffee there any time. The Restaurant was good but hours were a mystery, never knew when it would be open, especially in the morning. Manfredi's always good, Chef's Table a bit of a disappointment, too much foam. Some shore excursions were excellent with wonderful guides (in particular Jerusalem and Nazareth/Sea of Galilee), others we felt like were just filling the time and of little value. We choose to take time ahead of the cruise on our own and afterwards as well. Disappointed in the way Viking treated us because we made those choices, especially no help with embarkation or debarkation, basically washed their hands of us.
Very nice overall, big enough to be comfortable, good sized closet, safe very useful.
Disappointing, town deserted due to end of season.
Good view of old city, good time on our own.
Long bus ride, not much to see. Guide treated us like we were two-year olds.
Crusader fortress best part.
One of two best guides, very entertaining especially Jordan River, Capernaum, and ruins of Nazareth.
Guide good, but time actually in Pompeii too limited.
