Great entertainment except for Cats which was boring but had great actors.
Food was pretty bad even worse than carnival. I realized that after eating a regular burger with no bun ...just the patty and noticed it was made of inferior beef or a mix of beef and perhaps vegetable protein. Even the lobster was pretty bad. Ate mostly fish which was pretty good.
After 9pm...the only food you can get is some small deli sandwich or pizza. The pizza was good but on other ships they would have burgers and fries and other items like pasta and almost like a mini lido assortment of foods.
Nice large cabin which was clean. Small TV considering what I have seen on other cruises. No upstairs or downstairs noise but what is really really bad is the framing around the balcony windows which creaks badly during some seas days depending upon the current. It is so bad that even Royal engineers could not fix it because you would have to remove the metal framing. When you look at the metal framing it was designed in a way that it cannot be adjusted so it flexes like it suppose to but that flexing had no padding in the back to prevent noise. The noise is deep behind the panel. There is also ceiling noise as well but not as bad as the window. Good luck to the next guest who gets this room. We notice other areas in the ship creaking which could be fixed. The ship was refurbished but it appears that they did not fix the framing which has been affected over 12 years.
Great port for snorkeling and other related activities. Dollar is very strong in Mexico.
Too far away from the action. Once you get about 3 blocks into the town it gets very ugly. Do what we did. Leave the town quickly.
Good beach day with lots of activities. Water was not clear and cold. They bring food to the island. Nice assortment of beaches to see.
