We wanted to go back and visit the Bahamas again and we wanted to try out the sister ship Carnival Pride because we just sailed on Carnival Miracle and thought that was a awesome cruise and a very nice ship. Everything went as smooth as possible before, during and after our cruise, very easy embarkation and disembarkation and from past cruises on Carnival we had no issues getting around the ship. The Pride is very clean except for rust on our balcony, our cabin stewards were professional and very friendly, the dining everywhere was excellent and we loved the entertainers even the Dr. Suess Christmas show for the children was cute. This was our first cruise out of Baltimore and we drove 6+ hours to get there, for some reason it was $400 to fly there round trip, we used the parkSleepSail and stayed at the Best Western PLUS Hotel & Conference Center, very nice hotel with friendly staff and a restaurant on the premises and they provided courtesy transportation to and from the port for a little under $200, we would do this same trip again.
