This cruise was chosen as a Christmas holiday cruise with the family and celebrating a 50th Birthday as well. There were 4 of us and we had optioned for 2 rooms. Overall the cruise was a fun getaway to some amazing ports of call. I will have to say embarkation and disembarkation was better than I ever could have imagined. We literally were off the ship and in the shuttle in under 30 minutes by taking our luggage with us. We were in a suite and chose to bring them with us the morning we disembarked. Would definitely recommend that!

We had 2 cabins with one being an Ocean Suite (7273). The other was an interior on the same deck for the kids to use. We are definitely spoiled with the size and amenities in the suite. Cannot see doing another cruise without being in one again. Great closet space and room to spread out. There were some issues with the room as the ship is in need of some repairs, hence the attention to detail comes in to play here some. The door to the balcony was not tightly secured all the way even with the latch being used. This was particularly noticeable on the first night while going through some storms getting out to sea from Canaveral. A bar in the shower also came loose. We notified our steward cabin (Ferry, who was awesome by the way,) and he got it fixed right away. Room Service was also a bonus. Quick, friendly and perfect for breakfast on port days.

We have 2 kids/teenagers. One is 19 and the other 16. While there was a club onboard for under 18 year olds, there is not much for a 19 year old college student in terms of entertainment. (other than the casino) While I know this is a tricky age to be, this might be something that Carnival can look into as they are missing the boat there. The shows we attended we perfect for the cruise. The show "Flick" was well done and my wife really enjoyed the Motown Hits as well.
