We chose this cruise as a great opportunity to spend time with family and see NZ from the seas. It seemed like a great idea and that's what it remained - a great idea. The reality was awful and I would never take a cruise with this line again. I have cruised before on other lines and the Dream line is so sub par and average that I left the ship feeling relieved to be off it - not the anticipated way they wanted to have guests leaving!

My real feeling on this is it's a great example of a company entering a market and clientele they know nothing about and simply not doing any research or homework.

To be fair, I have specified which bits were average ( there was nothing outstanding) and which bits were simply awful.

Cabin Review

The rooms were fine - well appointed and fit our needs. Tea was not regularly replaced in the rooms and there was only creamer packs for milk - an addition of a tetrapack of long life milk would be much better as we traipsed back with mugs of milk and replacement tea every day from the restaurant.

Bathrooms were fine though the toilet flushing was not always working and there was a not so fresh smell from the toilets most days.

Cabin attendants were lovely and worthy of the extra tip we left - our one was named Ed out of the Philippines and he made our space immaculate every day and was always responsive and quick with any requests and always smiling and so nice - we loved him.
