This adventure was over the top. The staff was excellent in serving the guests. Every detail of the trip was superbly executed. I would do it again. The shore excursions were well plans and guided for specific group levels. Free time for shopping was giving usually at the end of each shore excursion. Meals on ship were great, service great, and the food was great. There was always a good variety to choose from at breakfast, lunch , and dinner. The evening meals were a bit more formal although dress wasn’t required. The whole cruise was a very relaxed atmosphere. This was my third trip to Europe it my first on a European river cruise. I would highly recommend to extend the trip either before, after the cruise or do both. By doing this you would add much more to your adventure. Again, I would definitely go again with Viking. And the Eir is one of their best by far.
