We paid top dollar for this average cruise. Had previously been on a Celebrity Cruise and thought the food was bad but nothing could compare to the slop on this ship. Poorly cooked and presented, mostly stone cold and very little supervision from staff. Children digging their hands in the food and not being deterred by staff.
Had to send food back in one of the paid restaurants ( food overall was average and then had to pay 20% surcharge plus a tip for average food). Ended up cancelling the restaurants covered by our dining package and eating for free at Tasrs Palace and Azura where the food and service were much better.
Nowhere decent to get a coffee except the swill at Starbucks, which you had to pay for.

Balcony
Very cramped cabin. Had to take turns to get dressed, use the wardrobes etc. Useless, uncomfortable sofa bed taking up too much space.

Went to Kelly Tarlingtons Aquarium. Very poor arrangements for getting there without a car. Not a lot to do in Auckland on a very short shore day.
