We picked this cruise because I insisted on cruising on Allure. We left from Port Everglades, and embarkation went nice and smoothly. We were on board, and had access to our rooms around 1pm-2pm. I knew this ship was large but... WOW! I had no idea it was this large. We booked the Boardwalk Balcony stateroom 10329. What a great room. Awesome view of the Aqua-Theater show, and awesome ocean views. (Not sure how this view has changed since the addition of the Ultimate Abyss. The cabin was a good size. Not anything massive, but not super tiny. We didn't spend a ton of time in the room. Mainly it was for sleeping and getting changed to head back out. Dining on the ship was great. We did Chops one night, and holy cow. That was an amazing experience, and I highly suggest it to anyone looking for a good slight up-charge meal! Entertainment was amazing!! We watched both Mama Mia, and Blue Planet. Great... GREAT shows! Our service in main dinning room was pretty sub-par. Not sure if we just had new staff, or what was going on. However, for our 8 pm dining time we were frequently among the first guest in, and usually some of the last guest out. Service was terrible. However, we tried not to let that distract us from the rest of the cruise. Most of the ports were good. The only downfall was being super late getting into Nassau, that left us with about 3 hours of time to do the Dolphin Swim, and water park at Atlantis. Wish we would have had more time. Other than the service in the main dining room, and the late arrival to Nassau it was a GREAT trip! We would re-book the trip in a heart beat!

Cabin Review

Boardwalk View Balcony

Good sized cabin. The cabin comfortably fit two adults. Not sure how comfortable it would have been with anymore people though. The views of the Aqua-theater, and the ocean were awesome. (Not sure how this view will have changed with the addition of the Ultimate Abyss though.

Port Reviews

San Juan

We did a self guided walking tour of the island, and it was a lot of fun. Got to pop in for some local shopping as well. When we go back to San Juan we will probably just tour the island on our own again. It was a great time, and we never felt "unsafe."
