We were excited to go on the Carnival Spirit once again (this was our 3rd time with Carnival). Things started off rocky when we were advised that one of our ports Mare would not be visited due to ship maintenance. We got a $50 per person credit on our accounts but was looking forward to going there as i haven't been there yet.

Once on board it was a pleasurable experience, The ship was completely sold out being a New Years cruise. Our steward and wait staff were amazing, they do so much work for you on the cruise that i think most people take advantage. People forget it's there Job and some people are just plain rude to staff for no reason.

The ship is looking dated, they moved our favorite maitre'd (Dessi) to the Splendor which was disappointing as the one on the spirit you could hardly understand. The entertainment was fun during dinner.

Cabin Review

Extended Balcony

Cabin was nice, at the end of the boat so easy access to Laundry when needed. I have a CPAP so getting a power board was a simply as asking our friendly and helpful steward. It's a cruise ship cabin, it had everything we needed for the cruise.

Port Reviews

Isle of Pines (New Caledonia)

Just snorkelled around and enjoyed the time on the beach.
