This cruise was chosen to celebrate our engagement and as an early honeymoon. The fact that we were due to enjoy New Years Eve celebrations in Hong Kong including the expectation of fireworks the world has watched year after year.

Instead no contingency plans were in place to make alternative options available and in fact many people who had made their own plans were impeded in attending these activities by not releasing passports or providing adequate information on port locations etc.

Guest engagement was minimal by most of the crew - with only a small handful of staff demonstrating any concern or interest in guest satisfaction. Read more
