Traveled with children

We have cruised on three other cruise lines. This was our 8th cruise since 2015 several being with our two young children. I wanted to try NCL even though my husband was hesitant. I am THRILLED that I did!!! The ship left from NYC so I really should have considered the season when booking this trip. It was cold and very windy on our way down to Bermuda so the pools, water park, and ropes course were for the most part closed. But once we got down there they opened for a bit of time and were so incredibly enjoyable!!! The different dining options were by far my favorite part! Oh and Jackie was SO funny!!! My favorite part of vacation is napping and watching movies so we missed A LOT of the fun shows but we got to participate in a couple and had such a good time! The shopping was nice as well! Another fav part is THE ELEVATORS! Frequent cruisers know elevators can be problematic. Not on the Escape.

By far though the single best part I fond about NCL is when I got on board I had $200 in room credit because the fees ended up being less than what I paid. That was such a pleasant surprise as I have NEVER had any cruise line give back money!

Couple down falls: We were told you couldn't make reservations, but you could. The self serve screens were often down. Debarking was TERRIBLE and took almost 2 hours.
