Our cruise to Alaska was wonderful. We have travelled with Viking before. They are focused on ensuring you have a wonderful experience both on and off the ship. The ship is lovely and has multiple areas to gather, engage in activities, read, watch the scenery pass by, So we could be as active or relaxed as we wanted. Onboard we have found the service to be excellent no matter what level of cabin you book. The food offerings are extremely good and vary from very healthy to very decadent. The Spa and workout facilities are also top-notch. You have the option to include you flights at a very reasonable price and they will work with you ensure a reasonable schedule. We enjoyed the port talks on board the day before we docked in a particular area as it gave us an understanding of history and ecology.

Boarding the ship was smooth and without problems. Our Penthouse Veranda cabin was spacious (for a ship) and having the balcony and expansive windows were great for viewing the incredible scenery. We loved the entertainers at each of the bars and there was a good variety of shows in the evening with very talented members. It was fun to attend the shows. We have already booked another cruise with Viking for December 2020.
