We have sailed with Viking previously, and like before, they didn't disappoint us. Viking pays particular attention to every detail. We were able to explore parts of Europe that we haven't visited before. The crew and staff were friendly and professional. The meals were exceptional, particularly the soups. We spoke to the chef telling him how good we thought the soups were. The chef smiled and said he agreed with us and was in the process of promoting the chef who made all of the soups. We were fortunate to not have to swap ships due to low water levels. In fact our crew said it was the first cruise of the 2019 season that Mimir sailed straight through. Our city guide in Cologne was particularly good. Very knowledgeable and extremely humorous. All of the city guides were excellent. The only tour guide that wasn't up to the standard as all the others was in Kinderdijk. We attributed this to the historical society that operates and maintains this historic site only uses local volunteer guides.

Cabin Review

Veranda Superior

Excellent, except carpeting had a little wear in front of the balcony sliding door.
