We wanted to go to Scandinavian countries and especially Norway. Since Norway is the home of Viking they were the obvious choice. Also, past Viking cruises were excellent and fantastic experiences.
The food on the cruise was excellent with several optional/special restaurants as well as general dining. We had wonderful service during dining and the staff was always pleasant, friendly and helpful.
The layout of the ship is amazing. We never felt crowded and there were so many wonderful areas to sit and relax that we never got to every area. We were amazed to have so many others on board and yet feel like we had lots of privacy.
Cabin Review
The cabin was well laid out and did not feel at all cramped. A veranda is great to have and adds to the spacious feel. The room was well furnished and immaculately clean.
