We chose this cruise due to the wonderful reputation enjoyed by Viking. It was our first river cruise and it could not have been better. From the moment we boarded the Forseti, the crew made you feel right at home. The accommodations were wonderful. We really enjoyed the meals. Excellent quality and not so much food that you felt uncomfortable. Our excursions were great and we enjoyed them all. Especially the market tours, most interesting and informative. Our last dinner in the Chateau was spectacular. I don't know how they did it, but it was really great. We were so pleased with all the staff during the entire trip. Our Captain was very personable, but professional. We certainly have memories to last a life time. Certainly hoping to have the opportunity to take another Viking cruise in the near future. France is a beautiful country and we learned so much about the wine making process as well as the vineyards.
