We have cruised on Silversea a number of times, this was a highlight of all our sailings. What was not to like?????? (see previous review) The ship was luxurious , deluxe verandah immaculate, dining in the main restaurant excellent as ever, with very attentive waiters who knew what your wine selection would be and got it, also organised items from other menus on the ship. Like the drop egg noodle soup! yummy. The Blues Bar menu didnt change and was unappealing, but the Indochine and the Bar grill at night were fabulous. Unfortunately the rain and wind dampened the night venues, but we had excellent meals in our room. We thought the entertainment was great, the 6 singers were all well above expectation, and the costuming superb. Having Mark Vincent flown down from Sydney for an unexpected concert on a Sunday night in Melbourne was a highlight, we loved it. Both embarkation and disembarkation was excellent, as we'd had to fly from Brisbane to Sydney were very relieved we could get onto the ship and in our room in very quick time. We are also members of Virtuoso, and our hosts, Willo and Michelle from the USA were a hoot and we enjoyed our day out in the wine country with them. Yes, this is a line for the more mature who love good cuisine, good service, excellent presentation and love a little dressing up. Should be more than 1 time on your bucket list. Carmel Sunshine Coast
