Having cruised with around 8 different cruise lines over the last 25 years, we decided to up the anti and try Seabourn as we do like the finer things in life including champagne! We weren’t disappointed. We never saw a queue the whole two weeks of our holiday. We are very picky when it comes to food, service and drinks and we can honestly say that we could not find one thing to criticise. We had an Ocean View cabin on Deck 4 in the centre of the ship as a precaution in case of heavy seas and this cabin suited us as it was conveniently located close to the Restaurant. The embarkation and disembarkation were seamless. We used our own private transfer to and from the airport with Renaldo Matthias of Exquisite Transport who we have used before and he is always reliable and meets us in his air conditioned BMW with refreshments and local news and knowledge. The food onboard was great in particular the fish at the Patio Grill and the Indian Buffet in the Colonnade. We met many interesting people during our two weeks - staff and crew. The staff quickly learn what your favourite tipple is and if you have special requests - just ask. Formal Night at the Captains Table was a delight. The Beach BBQ was great fun and the lobster was delicious. We tendered the majority of our islands but the crew were very conscious of passenger safety so we had no reservations even in high swell. Plenty of storage in the cabin and the stewardess couldn’t do enough to please us. We will certainly be booking our next Seabourn as soon as we can.

Cabin Review

Plenty of Room. Bath tub. Double wash basins. Shower. Very comfortable bed. Very close to the restaurant which was handy.
