The ports were terrible, Guatemala and Belize are poor destinations with poor attractions, but we thought they weren’t as bad as the reviews we saw. Key West and Cozumel are good ports. I don’t know what Silverseas are doing in those two countries, especially Guatemala, with all the insecurity, armed police and just the general feeling that you don’t feel safe. Belize, well there is nothing there if you have limited mobility or if you are over 70.

But the worst part was the service, most waiters don’t understand well English, so you ask for something and they bring you something else. Some are are bad mood and even “talk back” or roll eyes when you ask for something. After you eat, either at the dining room or at the Grill, they take more than 20 minutes to clear the table.
