We chose this cruise because we had never been to these islands. This was our 6th Viking cruise, obviously we love the ship, staff, entertainment Service etc. Of the nine ports we had 5 included excursions and 4 extra excursions. One of the extra excursions was cancelled when political unrest made stopping in Dominica unwise. The other three were excellent. they include a tour of Harrison's Cave, an Air Tram through the Rain Forest and a Catamaran/Train tour. Viking is especially good at getting you on the ship and getting you back to the airport to go home. Not an easy task but they are quite efficient.
The only negative about this cruise was the fact that all of these island have been devastated by Hurricanes. The only industry they have is tourism. I am sure there are some resorts on each island which have been repaired and would be nice places to go but it is doubtful that we would ever return to these islands for a vacation and certainly would be unlikely to take this cruise again
We were with 4 other couples and since we are talking Viking no one had any children with them as you all know.
Excellent, plenty of room, bathrooms and showers are very good and spacious enough.
