Selected this cruise because of the Amazon content. We normally do not select a cruise with this many sea days and unfortunately extra sea day was added due to water conditions that forced us to miss a port (Recife). Disappointed that Viking didn’t seem concerned about the missed port and no discussion of any compensation for missed tours etc. This was our second Ocean cruise with Viking and we missed a port on our first one as well.
Otherwise cruise was as expected with the high level of service always received from Viking.
Embarkation and disembarkation went very well, Viking was a class act on our last day as we had a long delay prior to our flight home, so a Viking provided a great tour and hotel day room to assist us.
