We had always wanted to see the Northern Lights, and also go on an ocean cruise. We loved everything about it, the ship, the staff, the food and the wonderful scenery! The port talks were very good and the onboard historian who was very knowledgeable. We were fortunate to have great weather, and we had a wonderful view of the Northern Lights in Tromso. All the staff were excellent, from the people who cleaned the staterooms, the waiters and the bar staff. Although the weather was very cold outside, it was always lovely and warm everywhere on board, and after each excursion you were always welcomed back on board with a warm alcoholic drink. We did all the included excursions, which were good and gave you much information, plus a couple of extra trips. When we were in Alta we were very fortunate to see the start of the annual dog sledge race, something really special! It was really an amazing holiday, something that we will never forget!
