This was our 4th cruise on Viking and as usual it was absolutely amazing. The excursions were fantastic. We started with a walking tour of Zurich & then the cog rail to the Swiss Alps. Yes it was cold and snowing, but we were in Switzerland in April, so we brought appropriate clothing. Seeing the Alps up close and personal was a dream we’ve always had. The stops we had along our journey to Paris were interesting and enjoyable. A couple of the main highlights of the trip was the visit to the Gutenberg museum, which was open for Viking passengers only, and the American cemetery in Luxembourg. Both my husband and I are retired military and were very glad we were able to visit here.

We have been on the Siene, Danube and Rhine rivers, which are great, but the Moselle river is by far the most beautiful and serene.

Upon our arrival in Paris there was a lot of congestion with the luggage and getting our room keys. Not very well organized. That was, in my opinion the only thing that could use some help.

Veranda Suite

Having the extra room in the suite was great. Both my husband and I could spread out and relax.
