This was our third Viking Cruise. We have previously been on two other cruise lines, but now we’re hooked on Viking. The ship is modern and spacious. Our balcony cabin was comfortable and the amenities are terrific. Everywhere you turn, the Staff is wonderful! The staff are friendly, helpful, and truly believe in the best possible customer service!

The food is always freshly prepared and delicious. There are a variety of options — something to please everyone! Sometimes we grabbed a quick meal at The Grill or The World Cafe, and sometimes we enjoyed a more leisurely dining experience at the Chef’s Table, Manfredi’s (Italian), or The Restaurant. We enjoyed the food, service, and ambiance at all of these dining choices.

The excursions are very well organized, fun, and educational. Viking sponsors “port talks” so that we can learn about the destination that we’ll be stopping at the next day. (The live presentations are recorded so you can watch them on your big screen TV in your cabin at your convenience.) Every day we went on at least one excursion. Viking always offers at least one excursion included with the cruise. Sometimes we took the free excursion and sometimes we paid extra to do something really special. We were never disappointed.

Cabin Review

Either a veranda or a penthouse cabin are super nice! I like the free wifi, convenient electrical outlets, high quality amenities, heated floor in the bathroom, room service, and of course the wonderful Staff who are readily available to respond to every request.
