Overall a great cruise, value for money. Ship looks great. Maintenance seemed up to date and all looked clean and shipshape. Main dining room food was excellent, maybe Lido buffet a bit underwhelming but certainly ok. Tried Veranda restaurant and was execellent. Had the sole not steak. Not as stuffy as I had expected and surprisingly gala nights made a nice special occasion but I would still prefer not to wear a stupid tie. Not everyone on this Australian cruise dressed up and some without dark jackets were let into dining room but who cares really..Cabinwas well appointed and super clean, maybe bathroom a bit small but a first world problem. Entertainment ok but maybe have late show earlier before dinner a few more nights so do not do not have to watch show at 10 pm after late dinner sitting. Virtually all staff seemed to be happy and interacted well with passengers... Did no ships excursions.
