This was our 7th Cruise and we chose Splendor because it was supposedly refurbished and we enjoyed Spirit so much. I believe a cruise is what your make of it and we enjoyed ourselves, but somethings were disappointing.

The ships decor I think is very ugly unfortunately, ceilings very low and areas very dark. The glass lifts are like walking into a hallway very narrow. Overall the ship is very hard to navigate because nothing flows, only deck 5 runs front to back, so you would have to go up a level walk across and then down a level to get to the pub and restaurants.

Firstly we stayed in a suite which was very old dark and dated, maybe they put new carpet down. I know the showers on most cruises arent the best but these were the worst, no pressure and temperature fluctuations.
