This was the first Viking ocean and I wanted to see penquins and my husband wanted to go around Cape Horn in 30 foot seas. We did get around Cape Horn but not in 30 foot seas. The Viking Jupiter is a beautiful ship. Only 950 people and decor was nice. Our room was what I expected and housekeeping kept it clean. The food was a good and there was a nice variety of food from the World Restaurant and the other restaurants. The only problem with The Restaurant was the meal took a long time to serve the courses. I understand this as some people like slow service where you can sit and relax. The italian restaurant was good but the portions were too large, so we asked for half portions. The bread was so good.. Loved the spa with the hot tub, steam room and snow room. Guest laundry worked out great because for a cruise this length I could not pack enough clothes.

Have tto mention the WI-FI-It worked great 95%+ of the time. And its free with Viking.

Activities and Entertainment- The entertainment was good and varied from night to night. Enjoyed playing Trivia on sailing days and it was a good opportunity to meet other people on the cruise if a team needed another member as the limit was 6. The best part of trivia was the prize....absolutely nothing. We booked another VIking ocean to the Viking Homelands 9/2021
