We did the back to back. We chose this cruise for the itinerary and moving up on the food chain. We liked the idea of staying overnight in Cabo San Lucas. The five day seemed like a Princess cruise, while the four appeared to be more of a Carnival cruise atmosphere. Embarkation was smooth as long as you had your information done online with the new medallion concept. We flew into LAX and was motor coached to the ship. A lot of first timers due to the short cruises offered. We got an inside on the Lido deck for the price and location on the ship. We did anytime dining and ran into a couple that was on a previous cruse with us two years ago out of Port Everglades on the Flower Power cruise on the Celebrity Summit. Small world. :) We had a get time together sharing a table with anytime dining and several excursions. The show were awesome. Haven't seen this much talent on a ship in a long time. The West coast seems to offer better shows than the rest of the industry. The weather cooperated until last few days. Little wind and rain. We enjoyed Cabo San Lucas, Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico. All and all it was a good cruise. Traffic flow on ship was good, even with the new cruisers. Some 49er football fan club was on board. We had an excursion booked, so getting off ship was a breeze. Had time to eat lunch in Santa Monica before heading to airport. Ship was missing a sauna due to the addition of cabins, That's a shame. The super bowl and Oscars were viewed through out the ship, including the cabins.Nice move Princess.

Interior

Clean, well laid out and plenty of room.

Port Reviews

Cabo San Lucas

Went to glass factory, Event center and San Jose del Cabo. Try the fish tacos!

Ensenada

Toured city with a stop for refreshments and a local folk show. Rainy day:(

Los Angeles

We toured Venice Beach and Santa Monica before dropping us off at LAX. Beautiful Weather.
