Cabin: Balcony Suite

We were looking for a small ship and Wind Star seemed the best choice. We don't care for the mega ships. Star Pride cabins are suites nearly 400 as ft with living area, walk in closet, bathtub mini bar. Lovely lounges are spacious. Entertainment is live music and port talks, a few receptions. Crowd is mellow. No kids. Long days in port with easy on and off as there are only 200 passengers. Wonderful staff and gourmet meals complete a memorable vacation.

There is a full gym open 24 hours and yoga or Pilates every morning.

Breakfast and lunch are served in the Veranda. Complete buffet breakfast including smoked salmon every day and cold and hot items or order eggs Benedict or eggs any way. Servers are at your beckon call. Luncheon always includes special item like roast beef or grilled fish and always 3 or 4 hot dishes and many salads, grilled veggies. Dinner served in the lively dining room. Moderate dress code applies. Gourmet dinner always. 4 or 5 choices of appetizer, main course and dessert. Beautiful presentation and impeccable service. Meals are served at specific hours and unlike mega ships, you only eat 3 times a day. Quality not quantity but I still managed to put on 8 pounds in 2 weeks!

Balcony Suite

Luxurious. Spacious. Occur and product.

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

Went to the beach. Was Sundau and no other ships in port so few stores were open.
