  • Cabin Type: Superior Deluxe Balcony Stateroom

We did this cruise on Azura 2 years ago and loved it so returned and again could not fault it . We love the Azura yes she is ready for an update but she is still lovely . We had a lovely surprise before sailing we were upgraded to a superior deluxe cabin with balcony and it was lovely . The staff are amazing nothing is a problem I walk with sticks and they were superb regarding health and safety of people. The island stops were lovely as usual .we had freedom dining and the food was 5* and our 2 waiters were amazing they work so hard and we loved them Fenny and Anup they were a credit to P&O . I only have 1 negative the entertainment not as good as 2018 but that didn’t detract from the fact we had a fabulous holiday . The Caribbean people are so welcoming and my favourite islands are Grand Turks for the beach and Grenada for the scenery and spices but every island has something unique to the others. We took private taxis to see the islands 25-30 dollars for 3-4 hours ensure you agree the price at the beginning of the trip .wewere always back in port2-3 hrs before the ship sailed . The food is excellent we did use the self service restaurant in the afternoon afternoon tea sandwiches scones cakes and also hot food but breakfast and evening meal used the main dining room we had freedom dinning there were 6 of us so domes we had to wait for our favourite table/waiters but they ive u a buzzer so you can go for a drink and it buzzes when your table is ready .Service can take 1-2 hrs for 3 courses but we don’t mind that but if you want quick service then the self service restaurant is available . Men must wear long trousers and shirt/polo shirt for smart casual evenings and there are 4 formal evenings if u don’t want to dress for formal evenings again u can eat I self service.

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

Barbados

Ports were fine not always pretty but are working ports . Grand Turks lovely to walk off ship and in a couple minutes lovely white sandy beach and blue seas.

Some ports have purpose built shopping malls and bars so shopping opportunities .

St. Maarten

Nice island rained heavily whilst there still ongoing work after the hurricane 2017

St. Lucia

Again excellent guide

4 hrs 25 dollars some places were very busy due to the amount of cruise Ships in port . Some of the roads hairy especially coming down as very hilly.
