We chose this cruise to go to Cuba and were disappointed that didn't work out. Then we kept the cruise with the revised itinerary in order to see Key West. That didn't work out either as we didn't stop there due to rough waters. But the cruise was nice. Loved the lectures. Ship was nice. The main dining room service was very slow and they seemed understaffed. The other dining venues were much better. The entertainment singers were fantastic - very talented. And the lectures were plentiful and interesting. Shore excursions in Belize seemed a little disorganized, and I did not like eating chicken (on the bone) and rice on my lap in the tour bus. The Salsa excursion in Cozumel was a lot of fun and the visit to Chitzen Itza was very interesting. The embarkation and disembarkation went very smoothly. Viking reps were very friendly and helpful. We did not travel with children.
Very clean cabin, great stateroom service. Closet was fine for one week in the Caribbean but might be tight for a longer cruise. Bed & linens were comfortable. Lots of drawer storage which was great. And I loved the pop up makeup mirror and storage in the desk.
