We wanted to get away for a week and thought we would try MSC. This was the most disappointing cruise we have taken, and we've been on several. The ship is beautiful, modern and clean. Our balcony room was spacious and comfortable, and our cabin steward was great. The show Starwalker was wonderful, even if you're not a MJ fan!
But that is all the good we can say about the past week aboard the Seaside. We chose, after night two, to NOT return to the dining room for dinner. The service was poor and the food was awful. Such a shame since the two things people usually rave about are the shows and the food...not on this ship. Not a single employee seemed happy and we observed several uniforms torn, dirty, and faded. Very sad and disturbing.
The itinerary was weird and deceiving, showing 2 days in San Juan when, in actuality, it was less than six hours after an extremely disorganized disembarkation...and arrival was at 6pm on a Monday. It was dark when we got off and you couldn't see any of the City in the dark. Such a waste.
No daylight to explore.
