Sail Date: Feb 2020
Cabin: Mid-ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

This was my very first cruise. I can say I went into it feeling very nervous and overwhelmed. I tried to make sure I had done all my research on all the ports prior to sailing to ensure it was a worry free vacation.

We arrived to port at 12pm on a rainy day in Miami only to find a massive line up, in which parts of it left you standing in the rain. It took approximately 2.5 hrs to board the Escape. Upon entering I was blown away by its beauty and pure size- I couldn’t wait to explore!

I quickly learned that the lineup I dreaded having to deal with to board would follow me wherever I went on the ship- food, drinks, washroom, you name it. Which quickly becomes frustrating when you are trying to have a relaxing vacation.

Mid-ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

We upgraded from a stateroom to a mini suite. I am very happy we did as it offered more room, a larger balcony and most importantly, a larger washroom! We did find clothes in the room from a previous vacationer. Overall the room was very clean and tidy. Noal was our housekeeper and he was truly amazing. He would always say ‘hello’ in passing and check in to ensure everything was well.

I highly recommend packing Lysol wipes as we continuously were wiping down our room and cards.

Harvest Caye

Food and drinks are not included. Very very expensive when you have already paid for a costly drink package. NCL needs to have that included on the island!
