Just finished a 7 day Southern Caribbean cruise aboard the Norwegian Epic. This was our second cruise. First was aboard the Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas which was wonderful so we only have this to compare it to. The RC cruise was also Southern Caribbean. The ship was beautiful as are all of them. Equal to Freedom of the Seas.

Buffet food was good, typical buffet food. We did eat in the specialty restaurants Cagney's Steakhouse, Moderno Churrascaria, Teppanyaki (Japanese Steakhouse). They were all excellent. No issues with the food or the service at those restaurants. We also ate at O’Sheehan’s. Food was good. No complains about the food. Service was a different matter. We were ordering our food and my wife decided to change what she was getting. The waiter actually rolled his eyes at us. Really? We were stunned. He never came back to re-fill out water glasses or ask how our food was. Absolutely terrible service.

Our cabin was good. The layout of the cabin is a no great with there being no ”bathroom” but we knew that going into to it. It’s a little odd at first but you get used to it.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin was clean. Bed was reasonably comfortable, I've slept on worse. Plenty of storage.
