We have been on 2 Viking River Cruises, but never an Ocean Cruise, so we chose to try our first Ocean Cruise with Viking because of their reputation for excellence and we wanted a small ship experience. Overall the cruise was excellent. The ship was beautiful, open and airy with lots of huge windows and spaces to use without ever being crowded. All the Viking staff are top notch, which we love. The staff are genuinely happy to make sure the guest is having a great experience. On this ship, our Cruise Director, Bryan Rodrigues was wonderful, and the entertainers were exceptional. Such talent was beyond our expectations. The entertainment was so good, we often went to both the early and late shows, as they were so amazing. We cannot say enough good things about the Viking Experience as a whole. If we had to make any suggestions, we would offer two: First, have less lectures and more fun things to do with guests on "Sea Days". Second, it would be helpful to know about the docking situations in each port so that the guests can make a more informed decision regarding their excursions and times. Knowing how far the dock is from town and the time at port would be extremely helpful in planning one's day. We would have made some different decisions, had we known ahead of time some of these details.

Cabin Review

The cabin was bright, airy and spacious enough with lots of storage. The King bed was very comfortable. We liked having our own balcony. Our cabin steward was wonderful. The bathroom was also lovely and spacious with great linens, amenities, large shower and loved the heated floors.
