Viking Sea staff were all friendly, welcoming and went out of their way to give us the best experience possible.
We ate most meals at the World Café where the menu changed daily and always provided plenty of delicious options for a variety of tastes. TIP: Be sure to look at both sides of the café serving stations as although most food items are the same, there are a couple of differences eg; one side has ice cream and sushi while the other side has pizza and salad bar.
Also ate some lunches at the Pool Grill - great hamburgers & hot dogs!
Very comfortable cabin, well designed with good use of space. Comfy king bed, ample storage and hanging space, 2 chair sitting area plus 2 chairs on veranda. Plenty of room in the modern bathroom. Room is serviced twice daily by friendly, professional staff.
Road Town is not easy to walk around with narrow foot paths that often cut out leaving no option than to walk on narrow roads. Walked to Old Government House, disappointed to find it closed when website said open. Walked back into town and stumbled across the old jail. We were the only people there and had a great tour with Carol learning about the history of the prison and prisoners.
HM Prison Museum open Mon - Fri 8:30-2:30 US$5 admission located on Main Street
We were in Bridgetown on a Saturday and unfortunately several attractions were closed. In particular we wanted to visit the Garrison and Kingston cricket oval. Since these tours were not available on a Saturday we hired a taxi to take us to the Barbados museum with a quick stop at Kingston oval for a photo next to the Garfield Sobers statue. The museum was worth a visit and we spent an hour there while driver waited for us.
