We selected this cruise so that we could revisit Cozumel, Belize and Roatan. The Breeze was resently refurbised and the decor was far nicer that any Carnival ship that we have been on. It had muted and tasteful colors which is a departure from their usual scheme. The food was also far better than we've previously experienced. We were pleased with all of our meals and service. Instead of the standard early or late seating, we chose Your Time dining. We would reserve on the App and our table was ready by the time we went downstairs to the restaurant. Our balcony room as spacious and very nice.

We are normally very happy with the evening entertainment but this particular cast was subpar. There was only one female vocalist that was on pitch. The dancing was fine. We also enjoyed a violin trio that played covers of popular songs and movie themes. One night we listened to the 88 Keys program and it was awful. The warm up entertainer could not sing or play and we were actually embarrassed for him. The main act that followed was silly and we left.

The Beginner Scuba on Cozumel excursion was fantastic. It also counted toward PADI certification. I was thrilled with it. Mahogany Bay beach on Roatan was riduculously overcrowded and we ended up leaving. The snorkeling excursion in Belize was a fantastic water experiece but it was 4.5 hours on a boat with no toilet facilities or shade in the 95 degree heat. The snorkel sites were fantastic but it was an hour back and forth to it on a boat with no facilities. The only way into the water was to jump off the side which meant that my mother in law was stuck on the boat with no company or staff remaining behind. We used a simple gunwale swim ladder to board which was impossible for older participants.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Nicely decorated with great amenities.

Port Reviews

Roatan

We went to Mahogany bay. It was overcrowded with no shade opportunities so we left. Also the descent into the sea was steep so my elderly mother in law could not get into the water.

Costa Maya

Just a bunch of the typical cruise port stores with pushy sales people.
