Carnival panorama is a beautiful new ship. Everything is new, carpeting, furniture, drink ware, flatware, etc. with over 4,000 passengers public spaces are very crowded though. The beach pool area midship and tides pool area aft fill up by 9am every morning with people reserving loungers and chairs with towels, caps, and backpacks. For adults only, the serenity area isn’t quite as crowded but there is limited spaces and people reserve spaces up there like the other pool areas. There is one pool area that is not crowded, the Havana pool area. Here there are two hot tubs and a infinity pool. If you don’t like dealing with a crowd and would rather relax on your cruise you MUST cruise in a Havana cabin. The Havana pool area has the best aft view of any public spaces onboard. It’s very laid back and service is outstanding. The area has ample loungers and several day beds for relaxing. There are even call buttons for service. You don’t need to get up from your lounger or daybed or pool or hot tub to order a drink. Just press the call button and a waiter will be there in seconds. This is also the best place for viewing whales in the Cabo area. It was NEVER crowded here. Of course you must cruise in a Havana cabin or a Grand Suite cabin to have access to this area and they monitor this very strictly. It is well worth it for these cabins. We will definitely do this cruise again in a Havana cabin.

Dining:

Main dining rooms were ok. Lido marketplace was ok and the omelette bar here is great. The steakhouse was great and the table art desert is a must if you eat at the steakhouse. Bonsai teppanyaki was good food with a great show by the chefs. Seafood shack was ok, pizzeria was ok, and Cucina Del Capitano was ok. We also did the Elegant Affair cooking class. This was a lot of fun and the chefs were very accommodating and helpful. We prepared an entire meal at our individual workstations lead by a chef. Then afterwards we were served the meal prepared by the galley, which was much better than what we prepared. Our best dining experience was the Chefs Table. It was the most interesting dining experience ever, you must do the chefs table. It’s like no other meal you’ve ever experienced. It is well worth the price. Read more
