We had a great time last year on the Caribbean Princess, but not this time on Sky Princess. The embark/disembarkation was easy, the Medallion worked fine to get in and out of the room and buy drinks (all we used it for). Very nice basic balcony room, clean, nice and brightly lit bathroom. Polite staff.

BUT, the crowds of people made a big difference this time. We knew we had to get to the theater early (45 min to 1 hour for production shows), but we did not expect to be shut out of most other evening events in Princess Live or the piazza on 5. If you went to the 8pm theater show, then you were unable to get seats for 9pm events elsewhere. This was the first time we ever ended up watching movies in our room at night. We really enjoyed Mike Misko the magician/comedian. He was the best entertainment and it was great that he had 2 shows.

The buffet on sea days was a madhouse at breakfast time and lunch. Yes, it is huge...but it could take 5-10 minutes to wander around to find a seat even for 2. As many others have said, bland food barely warm. Very good omelets. Not enough sinks, and poor compliance with hand washing.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Very nice, clean. Comfy bed. Great lighting in the bathroom, and a big mirror and desk by the balcony which is a good location to do hair and makeup.

Port Reviews

Princess Cays

Boring, 30 minutes each way, same scenery. Too noisy to hear the guide. Overpriced.
