Unfortunately, we had an awful taxi driver on St Martaan/Martin who was very irritable and unpleasant. Next time, I would spend a few mins chatting with a driver before agreeing to ride with them. We've been in St Martin several times before but I was struck this time but the unattractive appearance of the island. Orient Beach was attractive but the rest of the island was very unappealing. Don't ever do the "America's Cup" excursion- incredibly boring if not windy and then you are forced to exit through a giant souvenir shop. On future stops I guess we would take the ferry shuttle to St Barts as we've done in the past and avoid St Martin. The cost of a 2 hr private tour of St Martin for two people in a minivan was 100 USD.

Ft Lauderdale Land and Sea w/FLL drop off. The second part, the boat ride on the Carrie B was great- fun and interesting. The first part, bus tour of Ft Lauderdale was awful with lots of germ exposure- many people near us coughing into their bare hands and the participants were from all RCCL ships at port that day including Celebrity. The tour guide had good intentions but was incredibly awful- delved into minutiae and seemed to be padding the tour. She spoke in a lilting voice and had the tone and demeanor of a condescending kindergarten teacher -but she was no Mrs Rogers.

Grand Bistro Cafe- mostly excellent food with a few service lapses and the best pastries on the ship- particularly the apple and pear tarts- we had lunch there a few times.Here are just a few areas that Celebrity should look into (I'm sure there are many more that other passengers can identify):

Constant handling of our plastic room cards by ship staff.
