The cruise in general was very good and we were happy with the entertainment, activities and food - our cabin staff worked very hard and so did the cruise director. Due the corona virus we missed 2 ports which was dissappointing and P&O said that we were not going to be offered any compensation which I was not happy about. Many other passengers had received room credits in the past when these have happened with P&O (I can only assume that carnival is not making any money at the moment so they are being tight). Even a $50 credit would have kept me happy. There are signs that the ship needs work - our bathroom floor was uneven and needed regrouting which they did during the cruise but they did a quick and nasty job. The pantry floor is taped down in many places with yellow and black tape as it needs replacing - not a good look. They ask at the end of the cruise what you think of the ship condition - i said not very good. They have sold the ship so they are doing minimum maintenance by the look of it - only a minor issue really but just not a good look for their brand.
We found plenty of activities on board and there are 3 free gym classes per day which we enjoyed.
The pantry food was fine with a good choice for a buffet - sometimes the food is not warm enough but just ask for hotter food.
