Chose this cruise for the itinerary Auckland to Melbourne ,on a positive note excellent staff both in level of service and quantity ,no issue with getting drink etc having sailed with NCL and RCI Celebrity and the quality of food was Superior .

Itinerary was excellent with the over night in Sydney (although we did have to return to ship by 9.30pm) ,generally the entertainment was very good but the organisation and scheduling was poor ,for example for the house band played for a max 45 minutes session then stop (even if dance floor full)with no interim entertainment ,subsequently mass exodus from the audience leaving a 90% empty ,plus overlapping events and confusing use of venues where you had to keep skipping around to attend events ,it was a real struggle for the entertainment staff to keep the 2800 odd passengers to stay up any later than 10.30 pm ,during the day the ship had the feel of a carehome (I am 55) ,party ship this isn't !.felt really sorry for the Dj starting at 11ish with empty dance floor, however Patrick (activities manager )is destined for better things with his energy and enthusiasm .

Another annoying issue was the 3 levels of drinks package ,never had this before where you could only have certain drinks and the premium drinks you could have were only available in 1 bar

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 2D

my fault chose cabin with obstructed view ,large balcony ,however nothing else special about cabin .
