This was our 4th cruise with CMV, all of the other three being on the Marco Polo, which we absolutely loved. Although we enjoyed the cruise (we enjoy all of our cruises), there were quite a few things that could have been better:
The cons
The cruise was booked for 14 days, 5 days before we were due to go we were informed that the cruise was being cut short by one day, because of bad weather during the current cruise. When we received the revised intinerary we discovered that we were going to miss two ports of call, even though we were only one day short - no explanation as to why.
Our cat 2 inside cabin was quite spacious and with adequate storage. One good thing was the provision of tea and coffee making facilities, not always found on budget cruise ships.
Views from the top of the funicular are quite outstanding.
Market Hall and Cube houses well worth visiting.
We did the Ice Hotel excursion, really very interesting, but we wouldn't want to stay there!
we did the Mageroy Island excursion, very interesting and fantastic snow-sovered landscape.
Trondheim is a super place, especially the old town bridge area.
Did the stave church excursion, not brilliant but the scenery was just fantastic.
