I will start by saying that we had a wonderful time and will cruise again with Celebrity anytime. But there are always glitches with any vacation.
The check-in procedure was the worst ever because the computers went down and the lines went around the building.I know they did the best the could but they did nothing to help out those who were handicapped and that could not stand for the 45 min. plus we were on line.
The food quality, volume and selections were as excellent as usual and personalized service in the specialty restaurants was amazing. We absolutely loved Tuscan Grill and wished we booked that twice. Murano was also delightful. Our waiter (Isai) and Fredrick the assistant waiter were wonderful in the Main Dining Room for the 8:30 sitting. Breakfast in the main dining room- service was slow. Oceanview Cafe was definitely the place for breakfast. We tried room service twice once was great and the other was funny. They gave us someone else's order. Our favorite place was Cafe Al Bacio, every day, twice a day espresso, cappuccino and some lemon tartlets. Who cares cruise calories don’t count!
Our cabin Concierge Class 1009 was very spacious just wish the draws were deeper. Thank goodness for the space above the beds! Plenty of hangers and the suitcases fit under the bed. Bathroom has plenty of storage space. The only problem with the room is not enough outlets especially if you need a cpap machine.
Our stateroom attendant (Sue) was excellent. Our room was immaculate and had ice every night. I needed a feather free room and Sue took care of that. The room is in the aft and it can get a little rocky.
