Amplified changes not so great

Review for the Southern Caribbean Cruise on Freedom of the Seas

If you like the casino it's been seriously downsized. They cut it by about 35% and put in a new game room/ sports bar. There are a grand total of 24 non smoking slot machines in the whole place. If you liked on air, it's gone. Now it's the photo studio. If you liked Sabor mexican restaurant. You guessed it. Also gone and replaced by Izumi. Oh and if you liked the locker rooms with showers, saunas and steam rooms. They are all gone too. Changed into staterooms. Very disappointing changes to the "newly amplified ship."

This cruise line is going down hill fast. They did upgrade the pool deck, and put new carpet and furniture throughout the lounges and dining rooms, but when everything you go on a shop for has changed for the worse, or just removed, it's very discouraging. It appears that RCCL has decided to put profits over customer service more and more over the years. Being a Diamond Plus member with over 200 nights on these ships. We have noticed a steady decline over the years. They added the Key program, to eventually charge for things that we were given for free such as priority seating in the shows, and the concierge lounge. And took them away from the diamond plus members. Now key gets the better seats and only suite guests and pinnacle members get the "suite lounge" they changed the name and took it away

Now the diamond club is so overcrowded that it's nearly impossible to get in there for the happy hour. Again, money over loyalty, its a crying shame. We dont even get the robes in our stateroom anymore. Its truly unbelievable.
