We were looking forward to this cruise due to the itinerary. One of the ports of call was Trinidad which was where my father was born so there was a personal connection. WE were disappointed that this 14 day cruse was reduced to 11 days due to a virus that infected many of the passengers on the ship. We were disappointed in the need to return to port early (and only were able to visit 3 of the 8 ports on the itinerary) but we completely understand the need to do this. We had wonderful weather - so as they say - when you get lemons make lemonade!!!

Having said that this was our second Princess cruise within the last 6 months (sailed Alaska on the Coral Princess in September 2019) and we were again underwhelmed. We have one more Princess cruise booked for April 2021 - Transatlantic on the new Enchanted Princess and unless there is a big turn around this will be our last Princess cruise.

The embarkation and disembarkation process is all a science now so there are no issues there. Very efficient and well managed. We were in a balcony cabin (A308) which was your typical balcony room. Bed was comfortable and love having access to the outside. There was an overhang which is always good to protect from sun (if needed) or rain. A cabin steward had little personality and as the cruise went on, when we did see him, he always appeared impatient that were were in our room. It seemed as though we had to work around his schedule.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Clean and efficient. Cabin steward did his job but very little personality.
